All romanizations in this archive are done by Iffer. This site is created for the purpose of allowing those who cannot read Japanese to be able to sing their favourite J-POP songs, as well as the purpose of having one of the most complete databases of Japanese lyrics on the web.

I started this project years ago for me own benefit, to be honest. At a time where my Japanese reading wasn't at an adequate level I would slowly transliterate songs in order to be able to sing them correctly, but before I knew it, my personal collection of lyrics had gotten so large, I thought I may as well share them with people out there. That's when I started the romaji_lyrics Livejournal site. When I reached the point of being able to read Japanese fairly fluently, I thought I'd stop this project, but that's when I discovered just how many people were visiting romaji_lyrics and I decided there's no way I can stop now.

Eventually the amount of visitors grew to a point where an actual web-site would be much easier to navigate through than a livejournal. So I created this spot for that reason. I'm so happy to see so many interested in Japanese music and it's with great joy that I bring you this site. I do hope you enjoy your visit.

These lyrics are generally for personal use only and are not to be reproduced without permission from the web-mistress. However, that does not mean that I am not willing to allow people to use lyrics from here for other projects. I'm usually fairly open to requests to use lyrics, but there are two conditions one must absolutely follow if they plan on posting these lyrics elsewhere.

1. Full credit is given for the transliteration. This involves my name and link back to my site.

2. An e-mail is sent to me with the site the lyrics are used on.

I believe these are very fair and simple rules, and though it may be somewhat troublesome, I do ask that you follow them if you plan on using my lyrics for anything besides personal use. Thank you for your co-operation.
